April 23 – May 3
Preservation Hall Foundation’s 16th annual Midnight Preserves benefit series welcomes prominent artists from a variety of genres alongside the Preservation Hall Jazz Band for intimate midnight concerts within the walls of our hallowed venue in the heart of the French Quarter. Past guests have included Jon Batiste, Elvis Costello, Shovels and Rope, Sharon Jones, Alabama Shakes, Al Jarreau, Charlie Musselwhite, The Del McCoury Band, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Givers, The Lone Bellow, Ernan Lopez-Nussa and dozens more.
While the guest artists for this year's series are not announced in advance, rest assured that every night will present collaborations audiences will never forget. We look forward to sharing the talents of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, as well as our collective, who work deeply within our community as teaching artists and culture bearers.
As always, proceeds from the series will benefit the Preservation Hall Foundation education, community engagement, legacy, and archiving initiatives in 2020 and beyond. A portion of the ticket price is tax deductible. Tickets are limited, so book with haste.
