“If This Hall Could Speak” is an exciting new performance series offering the opportunity to learn about and hear New Orleans jazz directly from the musicians who play it. Take a glimpse into the real lives behind this storied tradition as the Preservation All-Stars pair the timelss art of storytelling with songs that celebrate the experience of growing up in the Cresent City.
Led by some of the most notable torchbearers of New Orleans music, the Preservation All-Stars honor the past and present with a musical tour of brass band tunes, blues, spirituals, rags and more. The performances feature a number of honorees from Preservation Hall Foundations’s Legacy Program including Rickie Monie, Lester Caliste, Lars Edegrean, and Joe Lastie.
